Mijo’s is built on a foundation of family, hard work, and a belief that it truly takes a village. Our journey began by watching the abuelas, ma’s, and tias in the kitchen during family gatherings—these weren’t just holiday events, but simple Sunday coffee get-togethers or casual hangouts. It was there that we learned the true essence of cooking and the heart that goes into every meal.

As our family grew and friends began stopping by to taste the food, the requests started rolling in: “Hey, do you think I can order some of those family enchiladas or tacos?” That’s when word spread, and our little family kitchen turned into something much bigger. Word of mouth became a key part of our success, and before we knew it, we were catering to events all around town.

But we didn’t stop there. We took our menu to the streets of the Tri-Cities with our food trailer, offering a variety of tacos, homemade chips, salsa, a savory taco pizza, and so much more. Every dish is a reflection of our family’s traditions, and we couldn’t be more excited to share that with you.
